Kids Play at BC Place Stadium!

The Kids Play Foundation hosted a massive soccer tournament at BC Place stadium this year, and our team was there to cover the event! Hundreds of students and youth gathered to take part in the festivities, and volunteers gave their time and energy into making the day the huge success that it was. We spoke with some of the attendees and volunteers, including Kids Play CEO Kal Dosanjh, to hear why events such as these are so important for today's youth in our community.

This year, KidsPlay hosted a massive soccer tournament at BC Place stadium! The event involved hundreds of Vancouver students and youth who came to participate. The KidsPlay foundation aims to serve youth by engaging them in positive, community-building experiences such as these that deter them from drugs, gangs and violence.

We also got to speak with special guest Satnam Singh, the first Indian-born NBA Player. He spoke to the crowd about the importance of sport and going after your dreams, using his own journey as an example. Check out the video interview below!
